Did you know that the month of May is Older Americans Month? The Administration for Community Living, a government organization run by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, commemorates this month by offering resources and activities for seniors.

This year, the theme of Older Americans Month is “Communities of Strength.” This is a fitting theme as we consider the events of the past year. Now more than ever, American seniors deserve support and connections with their neighbors.

The Administration for Community Living will be providing ways to celebrate seniors during this month. Use the hashtag #OlderAmericansMonth on social media to provide your own updates!

At NORA, the well-being of our nation’s seniors is our priority. One way we’re working on behalf of American retirees is by fighting for The 3% Guaranteed COLA for Seniors Act. Learn more about this act and add your name to our petition today.

When you sign our petition, you’ll help us send the message to Congress that this legislation is necessary. Ask your friends and family to add their names as well. Then, connect with NORA on Twitter and Facebook to hear the latest updates!
