As we’ve highlighted previously, Social Security disability is a program that’s experiencing many problems.

While we typically highlight how the struggles of Social Security impact retirees, this group is also affected to a large degree. Whether they can’t get approved or can’t access their money, the struggles are setting them up for some truly tough times.

Take the situation discussed here. This individual struggles to write or even hold a glass of water. How can she work in that state? She may have to, because her appeal for disability was rejected. At best, she could get a few hundred dollars a month. But who could live off this alone?
