Here at the National Organization of Retired Americans, we believe in publishing content that everyone can use. This includes those who don’t want to retire.
For some, leaving the workforce is a goal. But for others, they never want to retire. Why is this? There are a few reasons seniors may not want to retire.
The case against retirement is a case for continuous growth and learning. Some seniors want to stay in the workforce because it gives them a sense of fulfillment. This is also a chance to make more money and grow your investments. And of course, waiting to retire can mean higher Social Security benefits.
We believe these benefits should be there for seniors no matter when they choose to retire, or if they choose to keep working indefinitely. What do you think about retirement? Will you take it early? Delay it? Or avoid it altogether?
