This year, on September 11th, America marks 20 years since the 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center towers and the Pentagon. It’s a time to remember those whose lives were lost and to honor the courage of the first responders who risked theirs. Americans showed incredible strength and resiliency in the days, months, and years following.

One way to mark this day is by visiting the 9/11 memorial’s website, where there are opportunities to learn about the attacks and their aftermath, find names on the memorial, and join in a commemoration near you. Take some time this weekend to pause, reflect, and honor those who gave so much in the face of senseless tragedy.
