Research from the Senior Citizens League finds what you probably already know. That is, that your Social Security COLA lags behind actual cost of living.

In 2021, America’s seniors received just a 1.3% cost-of-living-adjustment. Compare that to the rising cost of other items needed for living. For instance, beef roasts rose at 11% recently. Used cars and trucks likewise rose at 11% while health insurance rose at 7.5%.
