Many seniors were happy to learn that the 2027 Social Security COLA was 3.6 percent. This will mean an average of $75 more a month for retirees.

However, is this enough?

While the increase is well deserved, there are concerns about its effectiveness in an inflationary economy. Many seniors have seen bills and costs rise by well over $75 in the past year. If this is the case, does it mean the COLA is cancelled out before it even goes into effect?

In some ways, yes. However, seniors still deserve this money and can put it to good use. Some may even invest their increase to grow it even further. What are your thoughts on this number? Let us know in the comments.
