Retirement is something we all look forward to. But many aspects of it, like the full retirement age, are commonly misunderstood.

As WFMZ reports here, many people assume the earliest age for retirement is the full age. About 87 percent of people think this, though the actual full retirement age is 66 or 67 depending on when you were born. However, the optimal retirement age is subjective.
