A recent survey by The Motley Fool found that 81 percent of seniors believe the 2025 Social Security Cost-of- Living Adjustment (COLA) will help them very little or not at all. With inflation driving up the cost of essentials like healthcare, groceries, and utilities, many seniors feel the increase doesn’t go far enough to meet their needs.

The survey highlights a growing concern among retirees that their Social Security benefits are falling behind. For many, this COLA feels like a drop in the bucket compared to the rising expenses they’re dealing with. As seniors struggle to make ends meet, it’s clear that more needs to be done to address the economic challenges they face.
