With the news of the 2024 Social Security COLA recently being announced, seniors can expect a benefit increase.

This cost-of-living adjustment increase is well-deserved for all seniors, but it won’t be equal for everyone. That’s because benefit amounts are relative to a person’s financial and work history, as well as the age they choose to claim.

But which states are getting the most retired-worker benefit boosts? This list from The Motley Fool gives us the answer. Connecticut ranks at the top, with a $64.65 average increase expected per month. Only one cent behind this is New Jersey.
