We’ve covered these issues for months, and it seems that more stories like these are popping up regularly. In one state, people are struggling to get Social Security cards.

It’s not always about Social Security benefits — some people are still struggling to get the information they need for identification and tax purposes, showing that Social Security issues impact everyone in the country, not just seniors.

One working mother had to take time to wait for help between 12-hour shifts and caring for her two children, as reported by KFOR in Oklahoma. How long did she wait, you ask? She was on hold for two full days!

We know that times are tough, but Social Security isn’t a charity or a handout. It’s something every American is required to pay into by law, and thus everyone is entitled to the help they deserve.
